A was in town for almost a week to visit which is why I've been a little MIA. One of my goals this year is to update the blog more, so I am still working on it!! :P We went to this cute little bakery/coffee shop in Brooklyn right across the bridge. They had a wonderful selection of unique pastries which I would definitely have gotten if I wasn't so stuffed from our brunch.

For those curious, he's currently working as a registered nurse in California and we have been in a relationship for a little over 6 years now, majority of it being long distance since 2015. We were separated Northern California vs Southern California, NYC and Boston, NYC and now him back in California. We've made it work so far and are pretty happy with where we are in our relationship. Me finishing up NP school, him busy at work and having just interviewed for an ICU position. Taking things one step at a time and furthering our career goals! Any others out there living that LDR life? I feel ya! It isn't easy, but it's been worth it!
