Hey, y'all! It's been about a week since I last posted..oops! Sorry! It's been a pretty hectic past week trying to get work done before flying out to California for my brother's engagement party. Yup! That's right! I flew out of NYC on Friday after Pharmacology and got back Sunday evening. Seeing family was really great, but I am ready to just truck through the next few weeks so I can go back home and finally have a relaxing time with the fambam.
On another note, I just got an email from Project STAY (Services to Assist Youth) that I have been invited to interview with the two doctors running the program! This program serves to provide services for youth at risk or living with HIV. I am extremely excited about this opportunity because I am incredibly passionate about reproductive health and creating a safe, fun space to discuss contraceptive use and planning. Hopefully the interview goes well and I will be able to begin volunteering in the Fall!
The next three weeks are going to be pretty hectic and jam packed with studying as I prepare for final group projects and exams! Hope everyone is having a great start to their week!
